Church Fete – 2013
On a bright sunny day, Greenock Westburn Church held a fete on 25th May 2013
The fete was opened by our Interim Moderator, Rev .Morris Coull and David Faller of Inverclyde Radio. Inverclyde Radio broadcast live over the day from our event.
The purpose of the fete was to promote fellowship within the congregation and to give an opportunity for members and their friends to relax over a cup of tea or coffee.
Including the tea room, the various church organisations manned a range of stalls included home baking, fancy goods, coloured stall, books & C.D’s,
For the younger people, the Sunday Club and Bible Class provided face painting and tuck shop, The Girl’s Brigade offered the opportunity of a lucky dip
The Scouts manned the BBQ and also the Bouncy Castle, Zorb Ball and Sumo Suits.
The Scouts took the opportunity to take to the air with the help of Inverclyde Radio
Everyone attending enjoyed the day, taking the opportunity to catch up with friends and went home laden with a selection of plants provided by Parklea Branching Out. home baking, books & CD’s , bric a brac etc.
It must be said that the success of the day would not be possible without the hard work put in by the organisers and the large number of people associated with the range of our organisations
