Easter Early Bird Service 2016
Once again the Early Birds of Greenock Westburn made their way (either by foot or by car) to the top of Greenock’s Lyle Hill.
At 7.00 am, about 24 people gathered for a simple act of worship conducted by Rev Karen Harbison The musical accompaniment was provided by her husband Calum, David Burnie & Ricky Martin
On a morning that could best be described as ‘fresh, cold but at least dry’ the gathered congregation enjoyed the Service that inluded ‘the breaking of bread’ . The final Hymn was ‘Thine be the glory’ after which the made their way back to the church hall where Patricia Roberton and Sandra Downie had a warm welcome waiting with a supply of bacon and slice rolls washed down by tea and coffee. Hot cross buns and easter eggs finished it off
